This past Saturday Feb 21st, the Miami Tridents played the last game of the regular season with a victory over Fort Lauderdale 27 to 12.
The Tridents secured last week the second spot of the D1 south-south division and a playoff home game against Nashville or Renegades.

For this game the Tridents put a B side team on the field with some A side players coming back to the team due to injuries or work commitments that had them away from rugby for a while.
The Tridents dominated the game from begining to end with a good fowards attack and a very good defence overall.
The coach used all 7 subs to give some rugby time to some players that normally wouldn't have the chance to play.

The Tridents are playing the playoff game March 14th at Ben Franklin Park (Time 2:00 PM)

We need everybody support for the game come and help the Tridents make to the South Championship to be play in Nashville on April 4th.

Sunday March 11th after a very hard game the day before the Miami Tridents were playing a very well rest Life team after Boca Raton forfited their game Saturday.

The game start with Life scoring two fast tries with their backs, The Tridents adjusted to it and from then on our forwards started to dominate the game and we scored two tries from 5 meter line outs with the second one from a excellent maul we pushed it in almost without any opposition.
The first half finished 10 -10 with a very good Tridents performance.

But the second half the Tridents started to loose their legs because of playing two games in the weekend and Life took advantage and scored 25 unanswer points to win the game 35-10

With the win Saturday the Tridents secured the second place in the South championship and improved the performance from last year when we finished 3rd
This shows we are going in the right direction, We proved we can play in the South D1 championship, We need to improve more to be able to compete in the national level.
